Is a TULIP a sterile flower ?

a flower normaly gives a fruit, but how about a tulip flower ?

Is a TULIP a sterile flower ?
No. Tulips are not sterile in general. A specific tulip hybrid may be, however, it's through cross-fertilization between different varieties that we get so many different other varieties.

There's no guarantee however, even if you get seeds from a tulip, that it will resemble the parent.
