Is it ok to plant tulip bulbs in the spring?

Our company digs up the tulip bulbs and gives them to their employees. Should I store them until Fall? I mean this is Spring at the moment. is it safe to plant them now?

Is it ok to plant tulip bulbs in the spring?
you cqan but better in the fall. just keep them at room temperature are a little colder like 50s, and plant them inseptember of when temps are in the mid to upper 60s which is in october in most places
Reply:I would wait and plant them in the fall. You should store them in a cool dry place. You can store them in the refrigerator if you do not have fruit near them. If you plant them now, they are apt to be eaten by critters or rot in the ground.
Reply:Put them in a cool, darkish place until autumn, and then plant them in a bed together. When spring comes and the sunshines, it will look marvellous !
Reply:These aare best planted in the fall. You can store them in the basement if you have one. Don't store them in plastic bags, use a basket or netted bag
Reply:you might want to wait till fall if the soil you have is wet

they seem to do better if planted then
