I have tulip bulbs that weren't planted in spring. Can I plant them now? We're in zone 3 (MN).?

No.

There are two ways to plant tulip bulbs...

In the fall just before the snow flies and they should blossom around spring.

Sometimes you can place the bulbs in a freezer for a week or two...then place them into the ground. Tulips are not a summer flour...they need cooler temps...spring. You might have a few chance blossoms this way.

Wait until the fall to plant them. You can store them in the refrigerator until that time.
Reply:Plant them in October and they will come up in the spring.
Reply:you can plant them in late oct. it will not hurt if you plant now.
