Is the word " TULIP " offensive?

No it is a thing of beauty so to be called it would be a compliment.

Is the word " TULIP " offensive?
It has been. See the 'Tulip wars' in any encyclopedia.

Reply:Any word seems to be offencive now a days depending on who is saying it. It means a beautiful flower to me.
Reply:It depends on what you can use the letters for in the way of a mnemonic such as SWALK (Sealed With A Loving Kiss) or the soldier's friend,NORWICH (Nickers Off Ready When I Come Home). It may be that somebody has used this word in an offensive manner, but I have not heard of it.
