What was the Tulip Investment Frenzy?
your brother rocks meg!
Reply:Many years ago about 200 there was a demand for tulips because they were very rare. At one point the were sold at equivelent to 1 million todays money. Then someone brought a bizzillion of the from holland and BK'd a lot of people.
Much like this housing frenzy when interest rates dropped people went crazy buying homes. They could get alot for the because there were not enough homes available. Now there is a ton of new homes built to cover demand and interest rates are rising and people who bought on speculation are going to get screwed.
especially the ones with crazy adjustable rates.
